LaVonne Joyce (Triebwasser) Stoebner, 89, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Avera St. Benedict Health Center in Parkston. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Northridge Baptist Church in Mitchell. Visitation will begin one hour prior. LaVonne and Roger's cremated remains will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery.

LaVonne was born August 18, 1935 in Alexandria, SD to August and Hattie (Bettcher) Triebwasser. She attended school in Parkston, SD, graduating in 1953. She attended college at Baptist College in Sioux Falls. She worked several places including, Randall's Bakery, MTron in Parkston, and Shopko in Mitchell.

On March 5, 1961 she married Roger Stoebner in Parkston; the couple later moved to West Bend WI before moving to Mitchell.

LaVonne loved spending time with family and grandchildren, gardening, sewing, feeding her squirrels, as well as putting together puzzles and painting pictures. She was a member of Northridge Baptist Church.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters; Chris (Wayne) Vickers, Mitchell, SD, Jackie (Kent) Cundy, Box Elder, SD, three grandchildren; Austin (Nikki) Vickers, Brittney and Hannah Cundy, great grandchildren; Riley Swan, Kaya Rohads, Neptune, Juddson and Ronin Ball, brother Jerry Triebwasser, sisters; Imagene (Norman) Doering, Connie Jacobsen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger, brothers; Calvin, Roger and Jim Triebwasser, and sister, Joselyn Triebwasser.
