Wiona M Tillie Tillotson, age 86, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery, Fulton, SD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service that the Will Funeral Chapel.

Wiona Tillotson, daughter of Joseph and Flossie (Shoop) Peshek, was born August 22, 1924 at Wagner, SD. She grew up and attended school in Wagner, later graduating from Wagner High School. Wiona then received her Nursing Degree from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at the Methodist Hospital for 40 years.

Wiona was united in marriage with Cleo Deane Stub Tillotson in 1946. To this union a son, Dennis was born. Wiona was a very dedicated worker and loving mother and wife.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Dennis Tillotson and his wife, Jean, Mitchell, SD; four step grandchildren; one brother, Larry Peshek and his wife, Betty, California; a sister, Norma Laberee, Springfield, SD; a sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Stub in 2001; a brother, Bob; a sister-in-law, Delores; a nephew; three brother-in-laws, Russell, Lyle and Loy.
