William "Bill" Lee Gerstenecker, 67, of Mitchell, SD, went to Heaven on October 11, 2014. Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Mitchell Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Bill was born January 7, 1947 to Robert and Hazel (Lange) Gerstenecker in Mitchell, SD. Bill graduated from Fedora High School and married Shirleen Thompson on March 14, 1970. Bill is survived by his wife, Shirleen, Mitchell, SD; six children, Lisa Norris, Mitchell, SD, Ralph (Cheri) Lewis, Culver, OR, AJ (Pam) Johnson, California, Michelle Weisser, St. Louis Park, MN, Kris Gerstenecker, Mitchell, SD, Robert (Amber) Gerstenecker, Sioux Falls, SD; sixteen grandchildren David, Abagail, Cameron, Austin, Olivia, Trent (Amy), Molly (Patrick), Kara, Lindsey (Jake), Taurie (Felipe), Amanda, Katie, Sean, Sydney, Mckenzie and Phobe; fourteen great grandchildren Angel, Wraina, Nicholas, Patrick, Matthew, Hayden, Zoey, Karter, Federico, Filiberto, Favaviono, Julius, Liam and Blake; his brother, Richard "Dick" (Sandy) Gerstenecker, Mitchell, SD; two aunts, Eleanor Gerstenecker, Pierre, SD and Violet Burns, Artesian, SD.
