On Thursday, August 30th, 2018 William "Bill" Charles Young passed away. Bill was born on June 14, 1954 to Alice and Clarence "Cy" Young. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1972, then going on to graduate from the University of South Dakota in 1978. He enjoyed playing and watching sports throughout his life. Bill was a father, brother, and loving grandfather. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, being very proud of all of their accomplishments, which he often talked about.  Grateful to have shared his life with him are his two daughters, Tatum [DuWayne] Mahlen and Kimberly Young [fiancée Jesse Schlimgen]; six grandchildren, Jordan, Jasa, Sasha, Gabriel, Dylan, and Alexa; brothers Robert [Laurie], Keith {Kim], and Reg [Deb] Young; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by an infant son, his mother, Alice; his father, Cy; his sister Linda young, and two infant siblings. Private family services will be held at a later date.
