Wilfred Tuffy Wagner, 87, of Jupiter FL, formerly of Mitchell, died July 2, 2008 at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach FL. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Servicemens Memorial Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Wilfred Joseph Wagner was born February 13, 1921 to Peter Wagner and Virgie Kayser in Emery, SD. He attended school at St Martins School in Emery. In 1943 he enlisted in the Marine Corp where he served in World War II in Guam until 1946. When he returned home he married Ruby Lentz on October 17, 1947. He was also known as Fiddling Willie in the White Lake area where he played for many barn dances. He was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Bill is survived by his current wife Doris Longstreth-Wagner; five sons, Douglas (Beverly) Wagner, Gillette, WY; Dennis (Mary) Wagner, Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Ronald (Linda) Wagner, Champaign, IL; Greg (Kristie) Wagner, Lexington, NE; Steve (Julie) Wagner, of Gillette, WY; two daughters, Cynthia Wagner, of Minneapolis, MN; Peggy (Brent) Holt, Tucson, AZ; two sisters Luella Wienk, Alexandria, MN and Polly Geigling, Fort Collins, CO; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, his parents, and a sister Valerie Godfrey.
