Virginia Ginny Nulph was born July 30, 1930 in Mitchell, SD. Her parents Florence (Schurz) and Erik Gunnar Osen farmed south of Mitchell. Ginny attended Lisbon 8 country school, Mitchell High, and later college in Phoenix for accounting.
Ginny liked to try new things and worked as a waitress, telephone operator, and sold advertising for the Daily Republic while in Mitchell. After moving to Phoenix, she worked in various accounting jobs and retired from CRA, a computer leasing company.
She was inspirational as a life-long learner, reader and artist. She enjoyed painting, and music. She played guitar and keyboard as well as singing. In earlier years she was an excellent seamstress and decorator, and enjoyed gardening and yard projects. Having grown up in the 30s, she learned to pinch a penny and was a great do-it-yourselfer -- saying Its worth a try!.
She was married to Robert Rothlisberger in Mitchell, with children David, Valerie and Randy. Later she was married to Denny Nulph and they lived in Phoenix. We were blessed to have her return to Mitchell the past 2 years, where she was able to reconnect with old friends and make new friends as well.
Survived by her children David Rothlisberger, Randy and wife Stacie Rothlisberger of Mitchell and Valerie Rothlisberger of Lake Elmo, MN.; brother Arlis and wife Mary Ann Osen of Mitchell; 10 grandchildren, 11great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Ardath; brothers, Burell, Doyle, Paul Osen, and her husbands.
