Vicki Phillips, age 62, of Mitchell, SD passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home with her family surrounding her under hospice care. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 11, at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM.

She was born to Laverne and Norma Phillips on August 11th, 1955 in Mitchell, SD.   She grew up helping her family on the farm and was later self-employed. She loved her family, and her friends were included in that family. Vicki enjoyed talking and telling stories of the past. Vicki loved taking care of her parents before their passing. Vicki married Junior after being together for over 25 years. They were married on April 19th, 2007. Vicki never had any children, but she was like a mother and loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her own.

She is survived by her husband Junior Cecil Sonne, Siblings David (Cheryl) Phillips, Larry (Karla) Phillips, Leslie (Puddy) (Danny) Barber, Scott (De'Andra Rogers) Phillips, and Bud Kunkel.  Parker, April, and Oakley Phillips have a had a special place in her heart, as well as over 45 (great) nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents Laverne and Norma Phillips, Siblings Gary Phillips and Maureen Kunkel, her nephew Terry Larson and family friend Marian Straw.
