Born February 13, 1931 in Artesian, SD as the oldest child of Floyd Harold and Helen Elaine (Jopp) Noble. She graduated grade school in Woonsocket, SD, then graduating from Artesian High School in 1949 with honors. She was a contestant in the SD Miss Ruskin Park Beauty Pageant in 1951 and also won a Good Citizen Award in Sanborn County from Daughters of the American Revolution. Attending Brookings, SD College on a 4-H Scholarship for home economics and design, she continued her involvement with the 4-H college club and later as a Kansas Leader in the 1970's. She was an Epsilon Sigma Alpha member until the 1960's.
Twila married George Robert "Bob" Feiner at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell, SD on January 28, 1954 and celebrated 40 years of marriage before the passing of Bob on April 15, 1994 in Apache Junction, AZ. She continued to work at the Chevrolet Dealership in Mitchell while Bob was stationed in Fort Riley, KS with the Army. They then moved to Meade, KS with Bob working at a lumberyard and then Northern Natural Gas Co. In Meade they were blessed with children Christine, Michael & Karen then transferred to Greensburg, KS and were blessed with Gary & Lori to complete their family.
After her children all entered school, she worked part-time in the office at the Wings gas station: then PCA (Production Credit Association) advancing to Vice-President & Treasurer. Bob was transferred to Lafayette, LA with Northern when Lori was a Senior leaving Twila & Lori in Kansas for a short while before they joined him. Again, Bob was transferred to Midland, TX where Twila worked at Western Reserves before they both retired and moved to Pampa, TX.
She spent her time at the children's sporting events but found time to be involved in the Kiowa County Cancer Society in 1968, a Weight Watcher Leader, Desk & Derrick member, preparer of tax returns at AARP, H&R Block and St Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Twila was a devote Catholic and shared her love of the Lord and belief with others. As a family, we cleaned the Catholic Church, mowed the church's property and even shoveled snow before Sunday services.
Twila and Bob loved to travel mostly to see family. They visited many states and several countries outside the USA. Some states she was able to visit later on her own with dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; sister, Leora and husband, Ray Case and their son, Daniel; siblings-in-law, Therese and Denny McCrary, Mary Ann and Bob Wethor, Fran and Berniece Feiner, John and Phyllis Feiner, Keith and daughter, Debra Feiner.
