Tim B. Diede, age 56, of Letcher, SD died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Avera McKennan Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Trinity Cemetery, Rural Letcher, SD. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM.

Tim B. Diede, son of Marvin and Carolyn (Droz) Diede, was born July 23, 1960 in Miller, SD. He moved with his family to Chamberlain and in 1969 to rural Letcher, SD. Tim graduated from Letcher High School in 1978. He was united in marriage with Lori Northrup on June 20, 1980 and had four children. The couple later divorced, allowing two more children to fill his life. Tim was a hardworking, loving person with a zest for life. Tim's last employer was AKG.

He enjoyed being with his friends and family, shooting guns, riding motorcycles and playing chess. He was the good time.

Grateful for having share his life are his children, Dan Diede, Woonsocket, SD, Nick Diede, Mt. Vernon, SD, Andrew Diede, Rebecca (Ryan) Edwards, Letcher, SD, Daxton Diede, Miller, SD, Deric Diede, Miller, SD; seven grandchildren; his parents, Marvin and Carolyn Diede, Mesa, AZ; a sister, Chris Diede, Letcher, SD.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew; a brother, Ted; and his grandparents.
