Theodore D.
Sauers
January 26, 1938 – February 6, 2019
Theodore Duane Sauers joined his savior on February 6, 2019 with his son and daughter in law by his side. Ted affectionately known as "Teddy Bear" was born January 26, 1938 to Clarence and Irene (Fix) Sauers in Bismarck, ND. Ted lived in Mandan, ND for many years before moving to Oregon where he started his career as a civilian seaman with Alaska Barge and Transport. The company was hired to run military supplies on the Mekong River in Vietnam during the war. After a miraculous recovery, Ted lived with various family members until his death.

Ted was the father of six: Terry, Teddy Joe, Terry L., Thomas, Tamme and Tim; grandfather of 22, and great grandfather of 26.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence, his mother Irene, three brothers, Clarence (Gene), Thomas and Curt; two sisters Joyce and Marvel; four grandchildren, Sonda, Tina, John and Chance.
