Terry Michael Martin, age 56, of Mitchell, SD died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital ER. Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Mt. Lawn Cemetery in Lead, SD at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Terry Michael Martin, son of Joseph and Marjorie (Lehman) Martin, was born in Deadwood, SD on September 26, 1955. During his life Tery also resided in Redfield and Hot Springs, SD where he received services from Black Hills Special Services Coop. In April of 1997, Terry began receiving services at LifeQuest in Mitchell, SD. While in Mitchell, Terry resided at the East Elm Residential Home. He enjoyed walking, the outdoors, car rides and going to Zesto's for ice cream. He will be remembered as a happy person with a joking nature. Terry also enjoyed an especially close bond with his grandmother, Julia Ahartz. Survivors include his three brothers, Joe Martin, Lead, SD, Dan Martin, Texas, Steve Martin, Arizona; a sister, Diane Mulkins, Kentucky; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Julia Ahartz.
