Teresa Ritzman, 93, of Lennox, formerly of Mitchell died Friday December 3, 2004 at Hildas Heritage Home in Lennox. Funeral service will be held 10:30AM Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Monday December 6, at the Will Funeral Chapel with prayer service beginning at 7:30. Teresa was born September 26, 1911 at home in rural Epiphany to John and Lena (Bragelman) Wehner. Teresa attended school in Epiphany. She later married Virgil Ritzman on October 9, 1934 in Epiphany. Together they farmed in Miner County until they moved to Mitchell in 1975. Mrs. Ritzman was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved cooking and gardening. Mrs. Ritzman is survived by a son, Gary Ritzman and wife Shirley of Madison, SD; two daughters, Constance Ritzman of Chicago IL, and Judith Howard and husband Robert of Lennox, SD and one sister, Lillian Pospeshil of Sioux City, IA. Nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil in 1986, two children, JoAnne and Douglas, seven brothers and five sisters.
