Teresa Arlene Geroy, age 61, of Mitchell, SD died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home under hospice care. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Teresa Arlene Geroy, daughter of Gene Kasselder and Arlene Brandenburg, was born with her twin on December 9, 1959 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up in Plankinton, SD until the age of 13. The family then moved to Mitchell, SD, where Teresa completed her schooling, graduating from Mitchell High School in 1978. She was then employed at Shopko as a manager. Teresa was an expert in the hospitality industry having worked at Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO, the Kelly Inn and Suites in Mitchell and other local hotels. Teresa was employed at LifeQuest for a number of years. She recently returned to the hospitality industry in Mitchell.

She was united in marriage with Chris Geroy on July 10, 1999 in Mitchell, SD.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Chris Geroy, Mitchell, SD; her childen, April (Mathew) Lehmann, Sioux Falls, SD, Randy (Stacy) Strand, Mitchell, SD, Shelly (Derek) Tierney, Mitchell, SD; four grandchildren, Harper and Hadley Lehmann, Lyrik Strand and Lilith Tierney; her mother, Arlene Brandenburg, Mitchell, SD; her step-mother, Hon Kasselder, Mitchell, SD; a step brother, Doug Sheffield, Mitchell, SD; step sister, Malisa Meyer, Mitchell, SD an aunt, Elvina Johnson, Plankinton, SD and a cousin, John Harless, Woonsocket, SD and an uncle, Ken (Ann) Kasselder, Ericson, NE.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Kasselder and her twin sister, Terri Eimers; her step mother, Alice Kasselder, and a step brother, Curtis Meyer.
