Sylvia B. Miller, age 90, of Mitchell, SD died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 18, 2018 at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Sylvia Miller, daughter of Joe and Mary (Hohn) Miiller, was born March 2, 1928 in rural Corsica, SD. She grew up in the Corsica/Armour area and attended school there. At the age of sixteen, Sylvia moved to Mitchell and began working at Mitchell Produce. Later she took care of her nieces and nephews. Sylvia was employed as a house cleaner for Dr. Mabee and Dr. Schabauer. She was later employed at Motel 6 and the Super 8 Motel cleaning rooms. Sylvia retired at the age of 65.

She was united in marriage with Sidney Miller on February 18, 1946 in Mitchell, SD.

Sylvia enjoyed going out for coffee, collecting angels and rummage sales.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter-in-law, Maria Miller, Mitchell, SD; a grandson, Michael Miller, Mitchell, SD; three nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Miller on March 25, 2007; her son, David Miller on October 3, 2017; her parents; two brothers, Milen and Duane; two sisters, Ethel and Delphine and a nephew, Gary Miiller.
