Sue Todd, age 63, of Alexandria, SD died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her home under hospice care. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Sue Todd, daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Clausen) Watson, was born in Burke, SD on December 29, 1953. As a child she grew up and attended school in Burke, SD. Her father had a heart attack in 1966 and the family moved to Mitchell, SD. Sue attended Mitchell High School and graduated in 1972.

Sue was united in marriage with Ken Badker on April 14, 1973 in Mitchell, SD. The couple lived in Mitchell for a while and Sue was employed at Brady Nursing Home. They then moved to Casper, WY and later to Longmont, CO. While in Longmont, Sue was employed at a nursing home and also received her LPN degree from Boulder Technical Education Center in 1992. Later that year the family returned to Mitchell and Sue was employed as a LPN at Firesteel Healthcare Community and the Storla Nursing Home. The couple divorced in 2003.

Sue was then united in marriage with Loren D. Todd on August 7, 2011 at St. Martins Lutheran Church in Alexandria, SD. The couple made their home in Alexandria and Sue was employed at the Golden Living Center in Salem. She retired due to her health in April of 2016.

She enjoyed watching tv, watching game shows, shopping with her daughter and granddaughter and especially attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with Loren.

Grateful for having share her life are her husband, Loren D. Todd, Alexandria, SD; a daughter, Nikki (Dan) Beukelman, Mitchell, SD; a son, John (Jean Hanson) Badker, Mitchell, SD; a step-son, Logan D. (Brooke Mitchell) Todd, Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Meghan and Jordan Beukelman, both of Mitchell, SD; a brother, Jeff (Kim) Watson, Sioux Fall, SD; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sandra Davis; a brother, Joe Watson.
