Stuart Reed Cazer, age 66, of Mitchell, SD died Thursday, November 27, 2025 at his home under hospice care. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a private family committal at Mizpah Cemetery, in Plankinton, SD. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Stuart was born on April 13, 1959, in Mitchell, South Dakota. He lived much of his life in Plankinton before returning to Mitchell, where he retired last year after owning Centennial Carpet.

He was a devoted husband to Brenda and a loving father to Brandon (Sheba), Preston (Tifany), Tallon (Sarah), Logan, Kristian, and Eian. He is also survived by his siblings, Blair and Jeannine, and cherished grandchildren Keaton, Tayge, Kysen, Braylie, Madilyn, Nolan, and Reed. He was preceded in death by his son Logan; his parents, Richard "Dick" and Mary Cazer; and Steve Boyd, Jerry Boyd, and Julie Boyd.

Stuart had a passion for fishing and enjoyed the simple joys of life. He was a friendly, outgoing person who knew everyone and will be remembered for his hard work, his love for family, and the moments he shared with those around him.
