Shirley L. Minahan

Shirley Minahan, 74, of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2026, at Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.

Shirley was born to Frank and Berniece (O’Connor) Minahan on July 22, 1952 and lived in Lake Andes, SD. She graduated from Andes Central High School in 1970. After high school she attended a vocational training school in Mitchell, SD. She lived and worked most of her life in Mitchell and after retirement she moved to Wesley Acres Senior Living where she lived at the time of her death.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Marlene (David) Remillard, Garrison, ND and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Duane Minahan; and sister, Deborah (Ronald) Grosz.
