Shirley Larsen, 74 of Mitchell passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Dougherty House in Sioux Falls.  A memorial service will be at 11:00 Am Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Will Funeral Chapel.

Shirley was born March 29, 1948 to Lester and Marie (Young) Caulk in Madison, SD. After graduating High School, she attended Huron Nursing School where she became a registered nurse.  She was a nurse for ten years before her health caused her to stop.

She married Donald Larsen March 29th 1969, together they had three children. Shirley was a member of the First Reformed Church, American Legion Aux and was the Aux president for two years. She liked yellow roses, enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, her children, Daniel (Suzanne) Larsen, Anita (David) Miller, Angela (Craig) Kjonegaard, her sisters, Marilyn (Gary) Carson, Linda Pant, brother, Vernon (Deb) Caulk, seven grandchildren, Brady (Nichole), Brandon, Breanna Kjonegaard, Dawson (Maddie) and Ava Miller and Ethan and Issac Larsen, and one great-granddaughter Holland Kjonegaard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Curtis Caulk.
