Sarah "Sally" Willis, age 84 of Mitchell, SD died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Graveside service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the American Legion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Sarah was born September 22, 1929 in Edinburgh, Scotland to George D. and Sarah K. (Cook) Montrose. She came to America in January of 1953 and married John K. Willis on September 4, 1956 in Grand Prairie, Texas and moved to Mitchell in 1961. Sally worked for Geyerman's as a bridal consultant and store manager for many years and also worked for the Enchanted Doll Museum from 1982 until retiring in 2004. She was a charter member of the Overseas Club; past president of the Garden Club and was a member of the Camera Club. Grateful for sharing her life are her son John M. (Darla) Willis of Parkston, SD; sister Florence Morley of Edinburgh, Scotland; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and her parents.
