Rose Marie Sell passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, S.D. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Friday, February 2, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell. Burial will in the ZCBJ Cemetery in Wagner, SD.

Rose Marie Clark, daughter of Ted and Bella (Richer) Clark, was born February 23, 1935 in Vermillion, S.D. Her family later moved to Marty, S.D. where she graduated from high school and met and married the love of her life, Orville Sell on June 24, 1952. Rose worked at various office assistant positions in Mitchell, retiring from her last job with the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband; Orville Sell, two daughters; Anne (Tim) Nopens, Amado, AZ, Beth (Bill) Peta, Chanhasses, MN, six grandchildren; Heath Nopens, Omaha, NE, Jennifer Nopens, Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa (Rob) Greene, Lake Preston, Sd, Jeremy Nopens, Sioux Falls, Sd, Gabi Peta and Zach Peta, both of Chanhassen, MN, four great grandchildren; Stratton Nopens, Amelia Greene, Ryne Greene, Grace Greene, two sisters; Sharron Ridgeway, and Rita See, two brothers; Vernon and Marvin Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville, and two sisters, Dorothy Grange and Elaine Clark
