Rose Mary Phillips, age 93, of Sioux Falls, SD (formerly of Mitchell, SD) died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls, SD. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery.

Rose Mary (Heck) Phillips, daughter of Adolf and Katherine (Weber) Heck, was born June 6, 1926 in Dimock, SD.

She was united in marriage with Walter Phillips on June 17, 1994 in Mitchell, SD. Rose was employed as a telephone operator in Mitchell, SD, West Point, NE, Vancouver, WA and Sioux Falls, SD. She retired from the phone company after several years of service.

Rose was a member of the Catholic Church and loved playing cards, especially with her brothers.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Victoria (Phillips) Kasch and her husband, Robert, Sioux Falls, SD, and their children, Allyson Kasch, Anthony "Tony" (Ashtyn) Kasch and their child Quinn; Alvin Phillips and his wife, LaNae, Rapid City, SD and their children, Justin Phillips, Jocelyn (Frederick) Borrell, Charlotte Phillips-Iwen, Michael Phillips and his children, Michelle Phillips, Michael Hofmeister; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Phillips; a daughter, Charlotte Phillips-Iwen; a son Michael Phillips; a grandson, Russ Iwen; and her parents.
