Rose Bricker, age 88, of Mitchell, died January 18, 2006, at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Servicemens Memorial Cemetery. Rose Aline Bricker, was born May 29, 1917, at Fulton, SD to John and Mary (Richards) Benson. She attended Fulton Grade School and graduated from Fulton High School in 1934. She worked at Rybergs Caf in Mitchell prior to her marriage to John William Bricker on April 6, 1947, in Mitchell. Rose lived in the Mitchell Area throughout their marriage and worked for many years at Weight Watchers in Mitchell. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mitchell. She is survived by her son Jerry Bricker and wife, Joyce, Ethan, SD; five grandchildren: Kyla Laursen and husband, Kent, Ethan, Kris Bricker and Kody Bricker, both of Brookings, Kelly Bricker, Sioux Falls and Kassidy Bricker, Ethan; two great grandchildren, Mason and Tucker Laursen, of Ethan, and a sister, Wilma Smith, National City, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1993 and a sister, Leona Dittman.
