Robert "Bob" Tobin, 82, of Ethan, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Ethan, SD. Bob Tobin, son of Bert and Lillian Tobin, was born April 26, 1930 in Sioux City, IA. He married Margaret Norwick on June 10, 1949 in Mitchell, SD. He farmed in the Ethan area all of his life. Bob was the manager for Agland Co-op for 20 years, a real estate agent for 10 years, and also was a manager at the Davison County Conservation Agency for eight years. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marge Tobin, Ethan, SD; his children, Audrey (Larry) Ostertag, St. James, MO, Kelly Tobin, Lawton, IA, Carey (Patti) Tobin, Mitchell, SD; four grandchildren, Beth Boultes, Kyle Sanders, Larry John Ostertag and Mandi Tobin; nine great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Eileen Tobin, Wessington Springs, SD. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Robert; a grandson, Eric Tobin; two brothers, Milton and Clinton Tobin; two sisters, Evelyn Wendelboe and Shirley Hershey; and his parents, Bert and Lillian Tobin.
