Robert Bob Fowler, age 76, Mitchell, died January 10, at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Servicemens Memorial Cemetery with military rites. Bob Fowler was born on April 16, 1929 in Bismarck, ND to Floyd and Mary (Heidt) Fowler. He attended school in Bismarck and later attended high school in Tacoma, Washington. He entered the US Air Force and served on active duty and the Air Force Reserve for 20 years. After his discharge from active duty, he was employed as an electrician at O and M Electrical in Bismarck. He moved to California and was employed at Jone Electric in Hayward and later returned to Bismark and to O and M Electric. He married Betty Broecker at Bismarck. She died in a car accident. The family made their home in Oregon for five years and then moved back to Bismarck. He later married Joyce Nelson at Bismarck. They moved to Mitchell in 1974. Bob taught at Mitchell Technical Institute for ten years, teaching electrical construction and maintenance. He retired from teaching in 1984. In his retirement, he enjoyed coffee and breakfast with friends, riding his lawn mower in his yard, and his dog Mac and his cat. He is survived by his children: Kim Fowler and Kyle Fowler, both of Mitchell; step-sons, Mark Walker, Woodland, Texas and Mike Walker, Bloomington, MN, brother, Richard Fowler and a step grandson, Jacob Walker. He was preceded in death by his wives, his parents and brother, James
