Ricky Tietz, 64, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at his residence while under hospice care. there are no funeral services planned at this time.

Ricky was born on June 23, 1958 to William and Helen (Nelson) Tietz in Mitchell, SD  He attended school in Mitchell.  After school he worked for his dad before moving to Sioux Falls.  Ricky returned to Mitchell after his wife passed away, 3 years ago.  Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

Ricky is survived by his parents, son, Travis (Heather) Tietz, brothers, William (Kathy) Tietz Jr., Larry (Robin) Tietz, and sister Renee (special friend Heather) Tietz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria and a nephew, Joshua.
