Rickie Coleman, 77, passed away Friday May 17, 2024 at Firesteel Health Care in Mitchell, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday May 21, 2024 at Will Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Burial with Military Rites will be in Servicemen's Cemetery.

Rickie Lee Coleman was born July 21, 1946 to William and Helen (Carlson) Coleman in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He joined the Army, serving from 1966 until 1969. He was a crew chief on a helicopter in Vietnam. He worked for Yellow Freight for 30 years in North Carolina before being employed at Menards in Mitchell.

Rickie was a member of the Outkast Car Club in Mitchell. He owned a 1963 ½ Ford Galaxie 500. He enjoyed working on his car, going to shows and spending time with his dog, Oreo.

He is survived by his wife, Maryann, his step children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Dixie Hedrick of Hamptonville, NC and Diana Lambeth of Burnsville, MS.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Francis Coleman.
