Richard Zwack, age 75, of New Brighton, MN died Friday May 20, 2005 at New Brighton, MN. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Servicemens Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Will Funeral Chapel. Richard Zwack, son of Joseph and Magdeline (Theilen) Zwack, was born in Albany, MN on May 2, 1930. After his schooling Richard entered the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Ellsworth Air Force Base. He was united in marriage with Charmaine Moller on August 16, 1952 in Rapid City, SD. Richard was then stationed in England with the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge he returned to Mitchell, SD. In Mitchell, Richard was employed as a Retail Grocery Manager at Randalls Foods. He was then transferred to Yankton, SD continuing with Randalls. Richard then became employed at Spies in Madison, SD as a Retail Grocery Manager. With Spies he was transferred to Breckenridge, MN and then to Brooking, SD. Richard retired from Spies in 1974. The couple then moved to Marshall, SD where Richard was employed at Schwan Food Company as a Warehouse Food Manager. Due to his health he moved to New Brighton, MN one year ago. Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Jay Zwack and his wife, Jackie, Ft. Charrlotte, FL, Kevin Zwack and his wife, Gwen, Cologne, MN, Shawn Zwack and his wife, Cindi, Estelline, SD, Scott Zwack, Starbuck, MN; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 16, 1987.
