R ichard "Dick" Joseph Heinzmann, son of Clyde and Miriam (Kempf) Heinzmann, was born December 14, 1951 in Mitchell, SD. He graduated from Letcher High School. After his graduation, Dick was employed at Davis Farms and later he worked as a sheet metal fabricator until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants and waterfowl, fishing and attending his grandchildren's activities. Dick also enjoyed all the fellowship at Jake's.

Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Miriam Heinzmann, Letcher, SD; two sons, Judd (Jessica) Heinzmann, Sioux Falls, SD, Drew (Liz) Heinzmann, Canistota, SD; grandchildren, Logan, Miles, Maren and Hayes Heinzmann; brothers, Dennis "Governer" (Paige) Heinzmann, Washington, Gary (Pam) Heinzmann, Colorado; and several other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norm; and a granddaughter, Courtney Heinzmann.
