Rehardt Caylor, age 102, of Mitchell, formerly of Alexandria, died January 22, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the United Methodist Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Burial will be in the Milltown Cemetery. Mrs. Caylor was born November 5, 1904, at Milltown, South Dakota to Victor and Tillie (Harnisch) Uhrich. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the womens group as well as the bible study group. Rehardt was united in marriage to Frank Caylor November 4, 1925. They farmed together at Milltown, Olivet and Armour before buying their farm at Alexandria in 1946. Leaving her home in 2002, she was a resident for three years at Crystal Manor in Mitchell before spending her final days at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Survivors include a son, Howard Caylor of Ethan, and a daughter, Beverly Foster (Roger), of Ridgeway, South Carolina, two daughters-in-law, Marian and Shirley Caylor; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert Uhrich of Parkston and Morris Uhrich of Littleton, Colorado and one sister-in-law, Versal Brown, of Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, four children, Evert, Dale, Kenneth and Doris, a daughter-in-law, Rene Caylor, and a granddaughter Renee Foster Peeler. Memorials can be made to the United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
