Rebecca Jane Riffey Young Smith, 67, of Dimock, South Dakota passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Avera St. Benedict Health Center in Parkston.  Memorial services will be in the Spring of 2026 with interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Ethan.

Rebecca Jane Riffey, daughter of Robert and Laverna (Gaylor) Riffey was born November 21, 1958, in Ceder Rapids, Iowa.  She attended school in Cedar Rapids into her high school years.  Becki was married to Greg Young and later Michael Smith.  Through the years Becki lived in several states including Iowa, Tennessee, California, Oregon, Nebraska, and South Dakota.  She did waitress work for most of her working life, with her last job being a dietary aide at Avera Bormann Manor.  She enjoyed camping, reading, growing indoor plants, various crafts and raising goats and chickens.

She is survived by her children, Elliott Young of Iowa, Jordan Young of Illinois, Autumn Young of Iowa, and Camren Brandt of Arkansas; sisters, Dianne Wilke of Kearney, Nebraska and Barbara (Mark) Lam of Springville, Iowa; her partner of 17 years, Russ Weber of Dimock, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Raymond Young and Madison Milewski; and two beloved chihuahuas, London and Paris.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
