Becky entered into life on January 22, 1956 to Ernest and Roberta (Grady) Martinek in Mitchell, SD. She attended Holy Spirit Elementary School and graduated from Mitchell Senior High School in 1974. While attending Dakota State University in Madison, SD she met and married the love of her life, Dennis Rolfes on September 4, 1976. Upon graduation she taught elementary school for many years. She loved the community of Spencer, SD which allowed her to follow her heart and help educate small children, who grew to become productive citizens. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Denny; one beloved son, Christopher (Jaimee) Rolfes, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Terry Martinek, Berrien Springs, MI and Greg (Nila) Martinek, Mitchell, SD; her father-in-law, CJ Rolfes, Alcester, SD; her mother-in-law, Frances Newman, Springdale, AR; four sisters-in-law, Diane Wick, Minneapolis, MN, Lisa Newman, Russelville, AR, Lori (Jeff) Johnson, Springdale, AR, Carol Martinek, Sioux Falls, SD; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Roberta Martinek; two brothers, Douglas and David Martinek; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Theresa Martinek; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Frances Grady.
