Raymond Paul Koth, age 94, of Mitchell, SD died Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at New Zion Cemetery, Wessington, SD. Visitation will begin 9:00 AM Saturday until service time at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Raymond Paul Koth, son of Paul and Bertha (Winter) Koth, was born January 30, 1926 in rural Alpena, SD. He attended grade school at Bell School in Hand County, later graduating from Alpena High School in 1944.

Raymond was united in marriage with Deloris Klukas on September 8, 1946 in Alpena, SD. They were blessed with five sons. Raymond farmed for 33 years. He filled a position on the Board of Trustees at Wessington Springs Academy.

In 1979, Raymond answered God's call and became a minister of the Gospel. He served churches in Minnesota and Sioux Falls, SD.

Grateful for having shared his life are his four sons, Larry Koth, Wessington, SD, Lance (Patty) Koth, Mitchell, SD, Clinton (Barb) Koth, Canton, SD, Dana (Debbie) Koth, Hibbing, MN; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; two brothers, Roland (Shirley) Koth, Sioux Falls, SD, Thomas (Jan) Koth, Wessington, SD; and one sister, Sharlene (Tony) Gross, Carpenter, SD.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delois May Koth on December 30, 2016; a son, Dorin Koth; and his parents.
