Phyllis Ann Eastman, 77 of Madison, SD, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Sanford USD Medical Center.

Phyllis Jensen, daughter of Walter and Amelia (Schefsky) Jensen, was born in Huron, SD on October 15, 1939. She graduated from Artesian High School in 1957. Phyllis started as a nurse's aide and went to nurses training in Mitchell, SD. She continued nursing in California and South Dakota.

In 1966, she married Dayle Eastman. A son, Mike was born in 1967 in Pomona, CA; a son, Jason was born in 1971 in Mitchell. Phyllis enjoyed music, traveling and time with her family.

Grateful for having shared her life are her two sons, Mike (Pam) Eastman, Sioux Falls, SD, Jason (Tracy) Eastman, Green Bay, WI; four grandchildren, Kendra and Nolan, Trinity and Colby.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
