Patrick Gene Hoffman, age 60, of Huron, SD died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Ava Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, December 13, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial at St Scholastic Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Patrick Gene Hoffman, son of Joseph and Patricia (Vermeulen) Hoffman, was born September 12, 1964 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up on the family farm near Letcher, SD. Pat graduated from Letcher High School. He later attended culinary school at Mitchell VoTech. Pat made his home in Huron, SD where he was employed at the Donut Shop. He continued working at the Donut Shop and also worked as a bartender at Lazer's Bar. Pat farmed for a short time and also did odd jobs in the area.

He truly enjoyed participating in pool leagues and bowling leagues.

Grateful for having share his life are his mother, Patricia Hoffman, Mitchell, SD; six siblings, Michael (Bonnie) Hoffman, Parkston, SD, John (Debra) Hoffman, Alliance, NE, Robert (Linda) Hoffman, Mt. Vernon, SD, Tony Hoffman, Alvin, TX, Tammy (Darrell) Wallace, Santa Fe, TX, Tim (Stacey) Hoffman, Letcher, SD; nieces and nephews; special friends, Stuart, Shawna, Caleb and McKenzie Alderman and Sue Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his father.
