Patricia "Pat" A. Kobold, age 84, of Mitchell died Saturday, June 27, 2020 at her home under hospice care. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at the American Legion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Will Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM.

Pat Kobold, daughter of Mike and Julianna (Boehmer) Tischler, was born February 2, 1936 on the family farm northwest of Parkston, SD. She attended country school and catholic school in Parkston, SD. After her schooling, Pat worked at cafes in Mitchell.

She was united in marriage with Roman Hohn on October 6, 1954 in Luverne, MN. The couple made their home in Mitchell, a short time in California and returning to Mitchell. Pat raised foster children in Mitchell. Roman passed away on February 16, 1981.

Pat was then united in marriage with Fred Kobold on June 29, 1984 in Mitchell, SD. The couple delivered campers across the United States for 3 ½ years, logging more than 350,000 miles. Pat and Fred then managed the Lake Mitchell Campground for 20 years, retiring from the campground in the mid 2000's. Because of her love for flowers Pat worked at Hitchcock Park tending to the flowers.

Pat was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Fred Kobold, Mitchell, SD; two children, Randy Hohn, Minneapolis, MN, Rick (Deb) Hohn, Mitchell, SD; a stepson, Fred Kobold Jr., Mitchell, SD; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roman Hohn; a daughter, Norma; her parents; two brothers, Donnie Tischler and Jim Tischler; and two sisters, Peggy Metz and Janet Metz.
