Pat A Culver, age 84 of Mitchell, SD died Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD. A Celebration of Life service will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial 11:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Bridgewater Cemetery, Bridgewater, SD.

Pat Culver, daughter of Martin and Leone (Johnson) Benedickt, was born January 27, 1940 in Dunlap, IA. She grew up in Dunlap and graduated from Dunlap High School. After her schooling, Pat was employed at an elevator in Dunlap before moving to Missouri for a time. She then made her home in Bridgewater and in the early 1970's moved to Alexandria, SD. While in Alexandria, Pat was employed as a secretary at the Great Plains Insurance Company. Pat later moved to Denison, IA and in February of 2020 moved to Mitchell to be closer to her family.

Pat enjoyed crafts and refinishing furniture.

Survivors include her children Tom (Teresa) Culver, Avon, SD, Monte Culver, Mitchell, SD, Brenda (Mark) Kreutefeldt, Wentworth, SD, Terry (Kim) Culver, Galt, CA, Kim (Kevin) VanOverschelde, Mitchell, SD; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse; a daughter, Darcy; her parents; a brother, Joe; and three sisters, Sue, Jean and Lois.
