Orland (Ole) Loon, 77, went to his heavenly home August 31, 2019. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Harvest Community Church of the Nazarene.

He was born September 23, 1941 to Alvin and Edna Johnson Loon on a farm north of Alexandria, SD. When Orland was four years old Alvin married Geraldine; she was not just the only mother Orland ever knew, but she was also a wonderful mother to him.

Orland was married November 23, 1961 to Carolyn Wilson. Orland drove a truck for most of his life; he enjoyed motorcycles and later became an avid bingo player.

Orland is survived by his loving wife, and their four children; Chuck (Kathy) Wilson, Christi (Keith) Rundles, Robert (Ronda) and Missy Loon; brothers, Jim (Colette) Loon, Myron (Dorla) Loon, Dennis (Marie) Loon and a sister, Judy (David ) Donovan; 9 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 3 great grandsons and 5 great granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Dean, Bob and Wayne Loon, as well as an infant daughter, Melinda Kay.

Orland was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa; he will be missed.
