Oliver James Endres, age 43, passed away on February 3, 2021 at his home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 Monday, February 15, 2021 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Alexandria, visitation will begin two hours prior.

Oliver was born in Rosebud, SD to James R. and Debra Ann (Rahn) Endres on August 14, 1977.  He attended school in Okreek and in Mission, SD, graduating from Mission High School.  Oliver attended Wyoming Technical School to study auto mechanics.  He worked at the State Capitol of South Dakota as well as working in several other places in Pierre.  After moving to Mitchell, he started working at Wal-Mart where he met Laura; the two married and had two daughters together. Oliver lived in Georgia for a short time where he started truck driving.

On August 14, 2017, his 40 ^th birthday, he went on his first date with Denice Bardsley; he told her that she was the greatest birthday gift ever.  The two married a year later on August 15, 2018.

Oliver enjoyed many things in life, most of all, his family.  He talked to his mom every day, enjoyed playing cards and board games with his children and Denice, working on cars, and watching John Wayne movies.  Oliver and his dad both enjoyed guns and were in fast draw competitions.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Denice, his two daughters, Jessica Lynn Endres, Dakota Ann Endres, parents, James R. Endres and Debra Ann (Rahn) Endres and a brother James B. Endres.

He was preceded in death by a sister Jessica Jean Endres and a step-son, Zachary Beurskens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
