Norbert H. Young, 77 of Parkston died Saturday, May 21st at Avera Bormann Manor in Parkston. Norb was born April 1, 1928 in Parkston to Nicholas and Katherine (Ternes) Young. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He grew up and attended school in Dimock where his family farmed. Norb lived with his sister Mary (Young) Boehmer, her husband Joe and their family on the family farm. Norb enjoyed helping on the farm and spent his free time fixing and building. In 2002 Norb became a resident of Avera Bormann Manor. Grateful for having shared his life are his nieces and nephews: Jeanne Neugebauer, Sioux Falls, John Boehmer, Garretson, Morrie Boehmer, Sioux Falls, Kristi Boehmer, Parkston, Nancy (Robert) Hohn, Parkston, Robert (Liz), Spearfish, Ron (Karon) Young, Pierre, Betty (Ed) Peace, Sun City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Vic, Leo, and Peter Young, and 2 sisters: Loretta Young and Mary (Young) Boehmer
