Nicholas Todd Van Pelt, 48, Lake Wynonah, Pa., died Monday, May 2, 2011, at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, Pa. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, Pa. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Local funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Will Funeral Chapel, Mitchell, with the Rev. Paul Manson officiating Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Van Pelt was born in Mitchell on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1963, the son of the late Clifford Karl and surviving mother Gertrude (Welchert) Van Pelt in Fedora. Nick was the husband of Tina "Sandy" Van Pelt, his loving wife of 22 years on May 20. Nicholas was last employed as regional sales manager (northeast U.S. and eastern Canada) for XL Specialized Trailers, headquartered in Manchester, Iowa. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons: Ryland Sherwood Van Pelt and Zackary Rence Van Pelt, both living at home; sisters: Kariena Eagle Feather and husband Wyatt, Bridgewater; Karyla Dahl, Spearfish; Kathy Halter and husband Dave, Brandon; Krissy Van Pelt Smith and husband Don, Oklahoma City, Okla; Kalicia Hoffman and husband Chris, Erie, Ill.; brothers: Tim Van Pelt and wife Linda, Mitchell; Jeff Van Pelt and wife Deb, Tripp; Brad Van Pelt, Fedora; Toby Van Pelt, Wessington Springs; Barron Van Pelt and wife Rae Ann, Gillette, Wyo.; and Erick Van Pelt, Watertown.
