Milo L. Weber, age 84, of Mitchell, died Saturday March 10, 2007at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. The visitation begins at 4 PM Monday with the family present from 6 to 8 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will begin at 7 PM. Milo was born on September 28, 1922 in Fulton, SD to Mike and Lilly Weber and attended school grade school in Fulton. He was joined in marriage to Isabelle Schladweiler on January 10, 1945 in Farmer, SD. They farmed near Fulton until 1972 when they moved to Mitchell. He worked as Herters as a production supervisor and then at Owatonna as a shift supervisor until his retirement. He is a member of First Lutheran Church as well as a long-time member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. Survivors include 3 children, Dan (Beth) Weber, Sioux Falls, SD, Susan (David) Askdal, Minneota, MN, David (Jann) Weber, Berthoud, CO; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Esther (Clyde) Olson, Mitchell, SD, Fran Reilly, Lodi, CA, Leona Heuhouse, Woodburn, OR; special friend, Ruth Eilts, Mitchell, SD. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle. Memorials may be directed to the Mitchell Area Hospice.
