Michael Kiner, 68, of Mitchell passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.  A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Will Funeral Chapel; visitation will begin one hour prior.

Mike J. Kiner, son of Wayne and Loreda "Toots" (KIeinsasser) Kiner, was born January 13, 1954 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up in Mitchell and attended school in Mitchell. After his schooling, Mike began his career as a professional painter. He was a commercial painter where he owned and operated his own business Kiner's Painting. He retired after 42+ years of painting.

In his retirement he enjoyed model airplanes, cars and boats. Mike also loved hunting and fishing.

Grateful for having shared his life are his three children, Orry Kiner, Mitchell, SD, Shauna Kiner, Mitchell, SD, Nicole (John) Jarding, Mitchell, SD; eight grandchildren; a brother, Pat Kiner, Mitchell, SD; and a sister, Rita Ellis, Mitchell, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
