Maxine V. (Waters) Taylor, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 under hospice care at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. A private family graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell, SD.

She was born to Harold R and Sadie (Gevens) Waters on August 17, 1943 in Spencer, SD.

She attended Longfellow grade school and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1962.

She married Darrell E. Hohn in 1964 at the Holy Family Catholic Church; to this union they had two sons, James and Timothy. Maxine married Ron (Bub) Taylor in 1989.

She is survived by her special friend, David, her sons, James and Timothy, a sister, Mary (Richard) Goudy, brother, Russ (Fran) Waters of Plymouth, MN, her two grandchildren Bailey and Tucker Hohn, as well as nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, her parents, Harold and Sadie Waters, a brother, Greg Waters (2019), a niece and a grandniece.
