Maxine "Mikki" Bollack, age 59 of Ethan, SD died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at her home under hospice care. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Will Funeral Chapel with a 7:00 PM prayer service.

Mikki Bollack, daughter of Max and Eileen (Stopher) Bishop, was born June 3, 1956 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up and received her schooling in Mitchell. Mikki lived in Ogden, UT for two years.

Mikki was united in marriage with James Bollack on July 29, 1978 in Woonsocket, SD. The couple lived in Red Oak, IA for a year. They then made their home in Tampa, FL from 1979 to 1987, where Jim was stationed in the US Air Force. Later in 1989 they moved to Mitchell, SD. While in Mitchell, Mikki was employed at Trail King, Graphic Packaging and later as the manager of Family Dollar.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and reading books. Mikki loved spending time with her family and her two dogs, Scooter and Gizmo.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Bollack, Ethan, SD; four children, Beth (Jeremey) Chan, Mitchell, SD, Brandi (Jeremy) Roach, Mitchell, SD, Benjamin Bollack, Mitchell, SD, Anne Bollack, Ethan, SD; four grandchildren, Destiny Strait, Mitchell, SD, Hannah Strait, Mitchell, SD, Michael Roach, Mitchell, SD, Lily Roach, who preceded Mikki in death; a brother, Ted (Jerry) Turgeon, Omaha, NE; two sisters, Jane (Craig) Hansen, Griswold, IA, Mary (Larry) Peeler, Tampa, FL; a brother-in-law, Tim Bollack, Yankton, SD; a sister-in-law, Judy (Clayton) Clark, Frisco, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Lily Roach; and a brother, Robert Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mikki's name.
