Matthew John Boje, 30, of Mitchell, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at his home in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 12, 2008 at First Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM at Wednesday at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Matthew John Boje was born on May 29, 1978 to Mark Boje and Sheree Davis in Huron, SD. He grew up and attended school in Mitchell. In 1987 he moved to the twin cities and attended St. Louis Park High School and then moved to Stayton, MN area. He made his home in Oklahoma, Texas where he worked road construction for move than five years before returning to Mitchell in 2003 to take care of his mother through her illness. He was employed by Twin City Fan, Dominos Pizza, Enclose Manufacturing and most recently at AKG as a welder. He enjoyed to go hunting, fishing, golfing and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He also took great pleasure taking care of he nieces and nephews. . He is survived by a brother, Shannon (Katrina) Davis, of Minneota, MN; a sister, Melissa (Jesse) Thuringer, of Mitchell; his father, Mark Boje, Clay City, IL; his grandmother, Evelyn Davis, of Mitchell; five nieces and nephews, Amanda, Calista, Jordan, Shannessa, and Jaedyn; aunts and uncles, Karen and Mike Novotny, Rosholt, SD, Craig and Sara Davis, Sioux Falls, SD, Laurie Ell and Kerry Morgan, Mitchell, SD, Mark and Tammy Davis, Mitchell, SD, Dana Davis, Mitchell, SD. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sheree on January 6, 2008; his grandfather Wilton Davis on January 15, 2002; an uncle Stephen Davis; and a niece Nicole.
