Mary Edna Clark, age 91, of Mitchell, died June 14, 2006 at the Firesteel Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Stickney. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Burial will be in the Silver Ridge Cemetery at Stickney. Mary was born on December 10, 1914 at Stickney, SD to George and Sephora (Parry) Barrows. She married Willard Clark on August 28, 1935, at Mitchell. They farmed near Stickney until his death in 1967. She moved to Mitchell in 1968. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Stickney and was presently a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mitchell. She worked as a Nurses Aid at the Methodist Hospital for eight years. Grateful for having shared her life are her three children, Ronald Clark, Orangevale, California; Marjean Rowley, Aurora, Colorado; and Karen Clark of Mitchell; a daughter-in-law, Doreen Clark, Stickney; three grandchildren, Brenda Punt and her husband, Paul, Armour, SD, Paul Rowley and his wife, Jocelyn, Arvada, CO, Patrick Rowley and his wife, Kelly, Allen, TX; six great grandchildren, Aaron and Christopher Punt, Armour, SD, Logan and Katie Rowley, Arvada, CO, Devin and Lillian Rowley, Allen, TX; and two brothers: Arthur Barrows and his wife, Vivian, Pendleton, OR, and Ernest Barrows and his wife, Virginia, Astoria, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and a son-in-law, Robert Rowley. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Mitchell Area Hospice, the First United Methodist Church in Mitchell and the United Methodist Church in Stickney.
