Marvin "Buck" Schuldt, age 71, of Mitchell, SD died Monday, July 6, 2015 in rural Emery, SD of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Resurrection Lutheran Church with burial at American Legion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Resurrection Church with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Marvin John Richard Schuldt, son of Clarence and Gertrude (Ehrlich) Schuldt, was born July 7, 1943 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up in the Emery area and graduated from Emery High School. Marvin entered the US Army in October of 1966 and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in August of 1968. He was employed by several construction companies before he started his own (M&S Construction). Marvin was united in marriage with Sherylin Ozanne on November 17, 1972. Marvin was a charter member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion and the VFW. Marvin also was a member of the Rolling Thunder and James Valley Cycle Club. He traveled several times with the club to Washington DC to participate in the national parade over Memorial Day weekend. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Sherry Schuldt, Mitchell, SD; his children, Bobbi (Jason) Dibbern and their children, Emma and Camden, all of Harrisburg, SD, Cory (Ashley) Schuldt and their children Alivia and Caden, all of Mitchell, SD; two sisters, Judy (Cliff) Wright, White, SD, Shirley (Roger) Barnhouse, Salem, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Clarence Schuldt; and a sister, Darlene Horsley.
