Martha Triebwasser, age 96, died on February 13, 2006, at the Lodge Care Center in Loveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 20, at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel. Martha was born to Adolf and Christina (Mettler) Hochhalter on October 27, 1909 near Armour, SD. She was raised and attended school in Charles Mix County, SD. On February 28, 1935, she married Paul Triebwasser of Delmont. They farmed for nine years and then moved to Mitchell in 1944. Martha continued to live in Mitchell after the death of her husband in November of 1983. She moved to Loveland, Ohio in December of 1999, to be near her son, Keith. She is survived by two sons: LeRoy Triebwasser of Monticello, Minnesota and Keith Triebwasser and wife, Mary, of Loveland, Ohio; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, and three sisters. The family requests that memorials be made to the Mitchell Community Hospice at 525 N Foster Street, Mitchell, SD 57301.
