Marlene Wiebelhaus, age 69, of Mitchell, SD died Wednesday August 15, 2007 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Resurrection Lutheran Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Will Funeral Chapel.

Marlene Wiebelhaus, daughter of Martin and Ester (Dahlenberg) DeBoer, was born November 9, 1937 on the family farm between Armour and Wagner, SD. She attended country school in the Armour/Wagner area. Marlene was united in marriage with John Jack Wiebelhaus on November 25, 1958 in Parkston, SD.

The couple lived in Parkston, SD until 1970 when they made their home in Mitchell. In 1977 Marlene and Jack purchased a service station in Mitchell that eventually became Jacks Sinclair. Marlene was active in the business for the past 30 years.

She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mitchell.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, John Jack Wiebelhaus, Mitchell, SD; two sons, Doug and Jeanne (Sedlacek) Wiebelhaus, Mitchell, SD, Tim and Lorrie Wiebelhaus, Letcher, SD; two grandsons, Daxx Evan Wiebelhaus and Bryce Martin Wiebelhaus, Letcher, SD; two brothers, Harlan and Linda DeBoer, Letcher, SD, Robert and Sheila DeBoer, Mitchell, SD; two sisters, Margie and Ernest Bjerke, Jamestown, ND, Lila and Jim Letcher, Eugene, OR.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wiebelhaus; and her parents.
