Marion "John" Weekley, 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. A family service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to 121 Lakeview Lane #3, Mitchell, SD 57301.

John was born on August 24, 1950 in Platte, SD to Archie and Edna (Hockey) Weekley.  After attending school John worked as a handyman. He also worked at the Good Samaritan Society for 20 years. John loved helping people, if anyone needed anything he was right there to give a hand. John also enjoyed doing puzzles, coloring and letting his artistic side show.

John will be missed by those left to cherish his memory; siblings, Melvin Weekley, Elsie Juhnke, Irene Staller, Larry (Christine) Weekly, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Weekly, Alvin Weekly, Evelyn Majerus, half-sisters, Violet and Viola Weekley, sister-in-law, Mary Weekley, brothers in-law, Dennis Junhke, Delwin Staller and a nephew, William E. Juhnke.
